Curiosity Desk is an independent, owner operated Australian publication. The Curiosity Desk Editorial Team is the collective byline used when a story is researched, written and reviewed through our shared editorial process rather than presented as the work of an outside contributor.

What the team is responsible for

The team selects topics, opens and checks the linked sources, separates confirmed facts from interpretation, reviews headlines and images, and decides whether an article is ready to be public. The publication owner remains responsible for accuracy, corrections, privacy and advertising decisions.

How timely articles are checked

A search trend can suggest a reader question, but it is never treated as evidence. Current stories are confirmed through official records, primary research or direct statements before publication. Important claims are cross checked, uncertainty is stated, and articles receive a material update only when new information changes or expands the answer.

Use of research and drafting tools
