Australia covers the full sport programme
Commonwealth Games Australia's live team hub lists athletes across all ten sports on the Glasgow 2026 programme. That includes the large athletics and swimming squads as well as smaller entries in judo, weightlifting, boxing and 3x3.
The programme also includes Australian Para athletes in the integrated disciplines. The official team search is the best current source because it can reflect withdrawals and replacements closer to competition.
The stadium and pool sports
Australia competes in athletics and Para athletics at Scotstoun Stadium, and in swimming and Para swimming at Tollcross International Swimming Centre. The athletics team includes able-bodied and Para events inside the same wider programme.
Swimming begins early in the Games and concludes on 29 July, while athletics starts on 27 July and runs across six competition days. The official schedule should be checked before converting session times to Australia.
Cycling and gymnastics share one arena hub
Australian riders compete in track cycling and Para track cycling at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome. Glasgow's programme focuses on track events, so road and mountain-bike disciplines seen at other Games are not part of this edition.
Artistic gymnastics also uses the Arena side of that venue hub. The programme includes men's and women's competition, with team and individual paths depending on the published event schedule.
The SEC carries six Australian sport programmes
Australia has entries in boxing, judo, indoor bowls and Para bowls, 3x3 basketball and 3x3 wheelchair basketball at the SEC Centre. Weightlifting and Para powerlifting use the SEC Armadillo.
Netball takes place in the Hydro. The Australian Diamonds begin their programme during the opening weekend, with later fixtures determined by the competition structure and results.
How to find a specific Australian athlete
The official Australian team page can be searched by athlete and filtered by sport. Individual profiles provide a cleaner route than copying hundreds of names into an article that could become outdated after one team change.
For schedules, start at the Australian Glasgow hub and then open the day-by-day competition page. Confirm the event, Glasgow date and time before applying the correct Australian time zone.
How to watch without relying on an unofficial stream
Commonwealth Games Australia currently states that the Games will be shown live and free on Seven and 7plus. That is the official Australian broadcast route listed before the opening ceremony.
Coverage choices can vary by session, so the broadcaster's live guide remains important once competition begins. The most reliable combination is the official Games schedule for timing, the Australian team hub for entries and Seven's guide for the available stream or channel.
