The new recall covers one specific nine-drawer dresser
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission announced recall 26-633 on July 23, 2026. It covers about 16,809 EnHomee nine-drawer fabric dressers sold online at Walmart.com by Raybee-Direct. The agency says the units are unstable when they are not anchored to a wall, creating tip-over and entrapment hazards that can seriously injure or kill children.
This is not a blanket recall of every EnHomee product or every fabric dresser sold at Walmart. The current notice identifies a nine-drawer unit with a metal frame and fabric drawers. It was sold for about $80 from September 2023 through March 2026, and only orders placed before March 30, 2026 are included.

Open your Walmart.com purchase history and look for an EnHomee nine-drawer dresser ordered before March 30, 2026. Save a screenshot or download the order details before beginning the remedy process. The record can help distinguish this recall from other EnHomee dressers with different drawer counts, dimensions, sellers and sale dates.
A purchase before the cutoff is an important clue, not the only identification step. The CPSC directs consumers to contact Raybee-Direct for instructions on how to identify an affected unit. Do not rely on a social post, product nickname or a photograph that merely looks similar when the seller can confirm the recall details from the order.
The official photograph shows a wide metal-framed unit
The recalled dresser has nine fabric drawers arranged in three vertical groups, with wider drawers in the centre and narrower drawers on both sides. CPSC lists white, brown, gray and black versions. The frame is metal, and the published dimensions are 47.2 inches long, 15.3 inches wide and 27.5 inches tall.
The listed weight is 41.3 pounds. Those measurements and the official front, side and rear photographs are useful when an old product listing has disappeared from order history, but dimensions alone should not replace the seller's identification process. What to do immediately depends on whether it is anchored
CPSC says consumers should stop using the recalled dresser immediately if it is not anchored to the wall and place it somewhere children cannot access. The notice does not direct owners to carry it into a Walmart store
Although the dresser was sold through Walmart.com, the CPSC notice routes the remedy through Raybee-Direct. It does not instruct consumers to transport an assembled dresser to a physical Walmart store. Moving unstable furniture can create another hazard, especially on stairs or around children, so start with the written contact route.
Walmart's corporate recall page explains that its listings link customers to the manufacturer or regulator instructions for products sold through its stores and websites. Why a fabric dresser is covered by the STURDY standard
The STURDY Act led to a mandatory US stability standard for clothing storage units manufactured after September 1, 2023. CPSC's business guidance says qualifying fabric dressers count as clothing storage units when they meet the rule's size, weight and storage-volume criteria. The recalled EnHomee unit is listed as 27.5 inches tall and 41.3 pounds.
The standard includes stability tests involving loaded drawers, horizontal force and a simulated child weight on carpet, along with an anti-tip device and warning requirements. The recall notice says the EnHomee dressers violate the mandatory standard, but it does not publish a test-by-test failure report. It would be inaccurate to invent which individual test produced the recall.
No reported injury does not cancel a preventive recall
CPSC lists no reported incidents or injuries for this recall. That is reassuring about the reports received before publication, but it is not a finding that the product is safe. A recall can be issued because testing or compliance work identifies a serious hazard before a reported injury occurs.
The practical response therefore comes from the hazard and remedy sections, not from waiting for an accident report. Follow the stop-use instruction for an unanchored unit, keep children away and begin the refund process. Do not intentionally tip, overload or climb on the dresser to test the regulator's conclusion at home.
Do not confuse this notice with the earlier ten-drawer recall
CPSC announced a separate EnHomee ten-drawer recall in February 2026. That notice covered about 5,000 taller dressers sold through Amazon.com, listed a different model number in Amazon order information and used different consumer-contact details. The current Walmart.com recall is for a nine-drawer unit sold by Raybee-Direct.
EnHomee-branded products with twelve drawers have also appeared in earlier safety warnings. Similar brand names and fabric construction make it easy for screenshots to merge several notices into one. Match the drawer count, retailer, seller, order date, dimensions and regulator notice before following a remedy route.
Use the official page to avoid recall-message scams
Walmart warns that scammers can imitate recall messages and says it does not send product-recall notifications by text message. The company says recall information is communicated through official websites and direct email notifications. A text demanding payment or asking you to open an unfamiliar link should not replace an independent check of CPSC.gov.
The current CPSC notice does publish an Outlook email address for Raybee-Direct, so the email domain alone is not enough to judge authenticity. Reach the address from the official regulator page, not from a forwarded message. A full-refund recall should not require gift cards, cryptocurrency, remote access to your device or a fee to release the refund.
Do not resell or give the dresser to another household
A recalled product should not be moved out through a yard sale, donation or online marketplace simply because it has not tipped in your home. CPSC says federal law prohibits the sale of recalled products, including second-hand online sales. Passing it to another family also passes on the hazard and can separate the product from its remedy information.
Follow Raybee-Direct's disposal instructions so the evidence satisfies the refund process and the unit cannot return to use. If you see a recalled dresser offered online, CPSC advises reporting the listing through SaferProducts.gov with the page link and a screenshot when possible.
